My First Tablescape Tuesday

Oh, my, what is Gollum up to now? Tablescaping with Susan. Actually, we went shopping together via email, and did we ever have fun!

So, here I am making a tablescape with Old Foley's Strawberries. The china has darling little butterflies, too.

I added little egg coddlers.

I couldn't find a centerpiece, so I drafted one (stole it from the bedroom).

Wouldn't this make a sweet setting for Christmas morning?

I mixed it with my Ironstone--see the little duck bowl? And the plate stand is pierced creamware.

  1. OOooo! You'd be so proud Gollum! I found 5 pieces (serving pieces) including a cake plate of the pierced creamware at an estate sale three weeks ago for $5. For all of it - $5! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! I'm just in love with the stuff, and doesn't yours look delightful with the set up there! I'd sit at that table any morning, Christmas or otherwise - :)

  5. Really enjoy the design on the china. The lighting is delightful. The reflection of the flatware from the placemat is different and engaging. Wish I could reach trough the computer screen and have a glass of whatever it is that looks so good in your pitcher.

  10. I'm not surprised that your first Tablescape Tues. would be so lovely. There is an understated elegance to everything you do. Even your post about whimsical accessories showed an elegance that my whimsical decor definitely lacks. That china is so pretty, and yes, this would be a wonderful Christmas breakfast table. Ok, are those faux cakes faux, are have you been baking, because they sure look beautiful AND delicious? laurie

Thank you all so much; they mean the world to me. I do wish I could reach in there and straighten a few things but I'll have to wait to next week. LOL

(The fact that I'm on a "loaner computer" til my new one is repaired- yes, AGAIN!- shouldn't have made any difference, as I've commented here before while using this "loaner"!!) I DID want you to know, tho, that I think you did a F-A-BULOUS job creating yet ANOTHER "masterpiece"! HUGS n' again, more KUDOS, kiddo! Love, Linda (P.S.
