Pink Saturday: Vases, Chintz, & Edibles

Nothing is pinker than McCoy vases and a water glass filled with strawberry Jelly Bellies...

Well, I don't know. Maybe a pink chintz plate piled high with pink meringues is pinker...

No, it's the Jelly Bellies...

but the meringues are enticingly pink.

Of course, a pink chintz plate is a beautiful thing.

It's a garden on a chilly January day.
Pink roses on a white ironstone plate....heaven.

One thing about pink--the more you see it, the more you love it. I'm off to see Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for more delicious pinkness. See you there.

  19. Chintz and Ironstone who would ever have thought they would be such a match-made-in-heaven :) Very compatible together!

(Did you get your oven cleaned? Baking soda and white vinegar usually works, however you cud try a combo of 'dishwasher' soap and vinegar. Scrub lightly.

I've also discovered 'Dawn' liquid soap is a great oil/stain remover as so is Murphy's Oil OR a paste of Cream of Tartar and Hydrogen Peroxide.

White Vinegar is a great cleaning agent (for ceramic floors to crystal) and Apple Cider vinegar is a terrific disinfectant for bathroom fixtures, toilet bowls, light switches, counter tops etc.))

    WISHING YOU A BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND!

  24. Did you make the pink meringues for Pink Saturday? What makes them pink (cherry or berry juice, maybe)? They look so good to eat, but artistic as well. I think that a bit of pink complements most any color in decorating. Someone once said that pink is the change-of-life color, but it's a happy color that livens decor. I love that chintz plate! Oh--I copied Mrs. Ben's green cleaning tips. Pam
