I'm looking forward to cooking with you on the 1st "Foodie Friday." Dr. Gollum is excited, too, because he thinks this means real food. To celebrate, he has kindly suggested that we have foodie doorprizes. No need to drop your name in the soup pot...if you are participating, Mr. Linky will automatically submit your name.

My cooktop is still on the blink, so there's no telling what I will bring. *wink*
The kick off pot luck party, "Foodie Friday," will be on Friday, February 20th at Designs by Gollum.
Q: What IS "Foodie Friday," exactly?
A: Think "Pink Saturday," "Outdoor Wednesday," or "Tablescape Thursday"...but with food.
Q: What type of food should I bring to our potluck?
A: Anything you want! From appetizers to desserts, and everything in between. You can blog about a single cupcake, a cup of tea ... or a whole meal. It's not about quantity..it's about having fun in the kitchen.
Sometimes, though, we will be doing "themes," and I will announce them in plenty of time. Themes will be optional. If you'd rather not participate in a themed potluck, no problem--post whatever tickles your food fancy.
Q: Should I include the recipe?
A: That's optional (see next Q&A).
Q: Must my food be homemade?
A: No!!!!
Q: Can I use pictures of food that I've posted previously on my blog, or other food blogs?
A: Absolutely.(I hope you do-I've seen foodie awesomeness & more on your blogs.)
Q: How do I participate?
A: 1. Create your post, adding the "Foodie Friday" logo, and a link to the host blog, so your Readers can find other Potluck Parties.
2. Cut-and-paste your blog entry (the permalink) to Mr. Linky.
3. Have fun at the Potluck Party!

Fun is when your mama says your soup is ewwwwwy, but eats it anyway.
Somehow (more than decorating), memories, and friendships, are made in the kitchen...maybe because food is one of Man's Basic needs? Here lately, it sure is one of mine. :-)
