Three Thank You Notes to Three Friends
There's something about a package that brings out childlike joy. When three gifts showed up on my porch this week, I felt truly blessed...and ever so thankful and joyful. Joy and thanks go together like berries and cheesecake, like chocolate and Valentine's Day.

Yesterday a package arrived from Le Fleur, the gorgeous garden shop in Memphis (see previous blog entry--I can't find it at the moment, I'm too excited).
The wrapping paper and twine reminded me of spring...but who'd sent this lovely gift? "I can no other answer make, but, thanks, and thanks." - William Shakespeare
"In ordinary life we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give, and that it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer
It was from Linda, Mom of a German Shorthair!

When kindness touches it!" - George Elliston
She'd sent the darling Majolica bunny! Oh, Linda, Jim, and Belle,
I'm sending a thousand thanks!

"The essence of all beautiful art, all great art, is gratitude." - Friedrich Nietzsche
And that's not all!
The other day, a neighbor left a package on my doorstep.

In her note, she said she was spring cleaning and came across these frogs. Since she knew I was a 3rd generation frog collector, she popped them into a bag and said, "Happy Tablescaping." :-)
"Every time we remember to say "thank you", we experience nothing less than heaven on earth." - Sarah Ban Breathnach
They're the darlingest candlesticks.
"I would thank you from the bottom of my heart, but for you my heart has no bottom." - Author Unknown
A thousand thank yous to Jersey Girl, Mom of a German Shorthair, and my Sweet Neighbor.

"The six most important words: I admit I made a mistake. The five most important words: You did a good job. The four most important words: What is YOUR opinion? The three most important words: If you please. The two most important words: Thank You. The one most important word: We. The least important word: I." - Author Unknown
