  1. Thank you, Thank you, Gollum! I love the Tudors, but I don't have Showtime, so I have to pay to watch it on Demand or wait for the DVD. I love the costumes and sets. I even won some gorgeous earrings from Sorrelli, the people who make all the jewelry for the show, and I love them.
    Have a great weekend!

  2. The Tudors is one of the best shows on TV, and I have been patiently waiting for it's return. Of course Henry the Eighth looked like Johnathon Rhys Meyers... I did not know about this preview. Thanks!

  3. Mrs G - I see we have another thing in common. Me loves me some Tudors. Have you read the Phillipa Gregory series on, for example, Anne Bolynne? (sp) If you love the Tudors check out some of her books.

I am so excited, but we are having friends over for a Tudor party (hopefully) the premiere nite, so I will wait. I gotta see what some "Tudor" foods are to prepare. Wish you and Mr G could come. :-)
    Hope ur weekend is nice...Barb

  5. I love the Tudors too... even though they use a great deal of artistic license in their depiction of history... I mean.. I guess you'd have to make King Henry extremely georgous in order to get us to watch... even though in real life he was fat, jowly, red-haired but balding... and... homely... but he was... a king.. hehehehe.. .sorry for spoiling the vision...

now as for the preview... I think I'll wait so I can get the full force of the episode with all the sex and bad language included...

have a glorious weekend G... Dixie

  9. No showtime for me either, but love this series. I learned more about this particular part of history than anything I learned in school! but then the teachers weren't exactly sexpots like Jonathan and the rest of them!

  10. I love The Tudors! I been out of touch, while working on the road we had Direct TV, but hardly watched as we had to work on paper work to 2:00am and back up at 5:00am, To start back with our crew. After taking a leave of absence from work, we cut a lot of things out, we got Showtime back this week. I want to know the days count down. lol Thank you for adding this. I know want to Thank You for your lovely words, I got all choked up,it meant so much to me. Your a wonderful writer and my little words brought tears, to you. I got very emotional. Thank you for not wanting me to have surgery. But it is something I have to do. They will be major surgries, just not the ones that would make me lose part of my body. I was so excited, I went into Jackson today, I put on a size 8 pair of jeans, I have not had on since 2005, for I was not allowed by Doc, my daughter said too baggy, take them off. I went and found my fur lined blue jean jacket and off I went. I felt like a million bucks. I usually were Chicos, Hubby was so excited to see me in jeans, he said no, keep them on. One of my surgeries will have lypo, and as Doc tells me, before its over I will be even smaller. Lypo is awful, I had it before, terrible pain and would never ever do it, but I have to or he would have to use a donor skin. Had that before, ugh! Gone now. 3 tummy tucks, sounds like before its over another one coming. They are awful. I never told all of my journey, for it might would scare a lot of people. I've had a lot of people to ask me to share, what really happen to me, for not many people are alive to tell the story and the world needs to know. I've told bits and pieces, but not the whole journey. Too much, and I have wrote too much, now. Keep me updated on the Tudors. I want so to watch more. Oh, Thank you for joining my Tea Party on April 5, since it annual, I will just pick up your post link, late afternoon, for my Tea Party is at 2:00pm, its got out of hand, for in a small community, word travels and so many want to come! I've got to change everything up to have room for more guest than my dining tabe will hold. I need your long tabe! lol Sorry so long, just want you to know, I cherish your kind words.
