A Peek at the Crazy Ladies Book Trailer

I'm writing today--all day, into the night.(I will be cooking a little, too.) Teeny is calling my name.Meanwhile, my publicist, Julie Schoerke, at JKS Communications, sent a link to the new book trailer for Crazy Ladies (my first novel). Hope you enjoy it! (A trailer for the cookbook, Consuming Passions, is in the works.)

  3. I was going to wait until I got my leaning tower of books to read all finished but it is in my character to start one thing before I finish the first so I am going to get your novel and I can't wait to read it.

  9. I just finished reading Crazy Ladies this week! And I love -love - loved it! I'm looking forward to reading some more of your books. Should tell you some old family "tales" from my mothers family - they would make a great storyline -- but I'm afraid someone would "recognize" themselves! Oh well - I guess some family "secrets" just must "go to the grave"
    See ya!

  11. I am mid-Mermaids in the Basement and loving it. I also have a tower of books at my bedside, daring me to read them before I purchase any more books... Unfortunately for them, I'm off to order more Michael Lee West books. They're moving to the top of the pile! :)

  12. The trailer looks awesome. This magazine gal will have to break down and read a novel! Seriously, I do love books, just no real time to read except on vacation. I'll have to just go to bed early to do a little reading. Your stories sound like a great time.
Looking forward to foodie friday too. PS The lamb chops looks delicious. Bet that would make a great slow cooker recipe too.

  26. Hi Gollum,

I am way down here on your "Crazy Ladies" trailer post. I wanted to watch it After I read the book. :-)
We just came back from the lake (a day too short due to a big storm coming in) where I spent the last several days reading it.
I cannot say enough on how much I enjoyed your book!! I want to pull a Bitsy and "list" all the things I loved! lol
I was so engrossed I hardly ever even turned my head to look at the lake! One thing that struck me was how well you described things...I realized an author must listen/look to the sounds/sights of nature a lot. I became fascinated by this the more I read...more than any other novel. I would stop and think things like, "Hmmm, a churchy affair really DOES smell chalky!" :-)
I am still pondering on Dorothy. I know she was pretty horrific...but I felt sorry for the pain she felt most of her life also. I found myself wondering how you come up with your characters...maybe you could share in a future post?? :-)
I will read "She Flew the Coop" next...I only hope I won't wait until our next camping trip...I am terrible about reading when I'm home!!
Anyway, I truly, truly enjoyed it!!! L~
