In honor of Lady Katherine and her happy day, I put together a little "tea" retrospective.

Happy Birthday, sweet lady!

Let's all stop by Lady Katherine's blog, "Lady Katherine's Tea Parlor," and wish her a happy birthday. Just click HERE and you will be whisked away to her party in Mississippi.

  12. Happy Sunday Gollum on the farm! Your teascape birthday surprise for Lady Katherine is far from anything I've seen for a farm gal in a long time! ;) You are a lady of intrigue Gollum and I totally fall in love with your photography of foods and the way you capture every detail. You present a romance between the reader and the view of delicate sweets, savories, and even the tea....you are a captivating writer! I'm sure Lady Katherine will be in love with your post today and will be honored to have you go to all this special work for her! She is a precious Lady! ;) ~CC Catherine

  13. I love the tribute to Lady Katherine's birthday....she's such a special person. The slipper cookies and your interestingly shaped tea cup was my favorite. Do you have the recipe for the cookies...I don't know how many sugar cookies I've made that taste awful! I need a good recipe! I just realized that I have one of your design books! I love your room sketches!

  16. Well, if this is a "little" tea party, don't show me a big one. This one puts my parties to shame. A big one would blow mine out of the water. Everything looks so pretty, and so perfect! I just wish that was my hand reaching in there to pick up some of that gorgeous food! laurie

  26. Oh Gollum! What a wonderful honor! I love your Tea Party! The beautiful dishes, love the cake plate! I love the tea in the cups with the lemon! The open faced sandwiches, of sheep and umbrellas! What did you use to make the sticks in the umbrellas? Oh, and the cupcakes, you make I always adore! The slipper is just lovely! I want to know how to make them! Such a lovely celebration! I missed seeing a picture of Mister! The Tea Party is just Simply Amazing! Thank you so much for giving me this lovely gift on my special day. I got on line yesterday, I got to your Tea Party and saw the sandwiches and slippers, I cried tears of Joy! So I was so tired so I wanted to stop by and Thank You for I do love it. I am so sorry I am so late. I had an accident, my 21 month old granddaughter almost fell in our creek and I caught her just in time. I tore my whole right side mesh from my body. My Doc said Hospital, I said Tea Party! I slept for days around the clock. I am better, healing and still sore today. I sat outdoors today and watch my 3 and 5 year old grands play. The sun was so warm just windy. I wish I had the slipper here and a nice cuppa tea! Just lovely!

May I ask...do you know where I can purchase those "lacy cutout" cupcake wraps? I am seeing them in many magazines and cannot find them anywhere.
    thanks!
