Dr. Gollum's Gifts

A twig bench...

A table and chairs to replace the set that shattered and blew to the winds...

The Lytton's bench, from a long-ago Mother's Day, not new, but beloved.

And Bandwith's ducks taking a dip.

See you all tomorrow (pending the temperamental Mr. Linky) for Foodie Friday's Trainwrecks (or any food/drink).

But, I couldn't help notice your pavers. They are awesome. I would love to have something as wonderful. You are living a beautiful dream.

  25. Awesome!! Has that table in the first picture always had the same base? I don't recall seeing it before! Everything looks great. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day, and that your Mama did too, Jan (jjlmnaz)

  26. I love the twig bench and the new table and chairs (along with the old bench and Bandwith's cute ducks). That twig bench is a major goodie. Did you spy that, or did Dr. Gollum do that on his own? Either way, that's a nifty, nifty present! :-)

    See you later (hopefully)....

  37. I hate to tell yall this...but a great wind knocked over the table, and it ended up in the pond. Bandwith cut his hand fishing it out. The table and chairs are OK, but the umbrella was hopelessly broken.
    I'm so sad--it didn't last a week!
But I sure did enjoy it.

Thanks so much for the comments about Dr. G and the twig bench. He bought the furniture and bench at Lowes.

  38. Good job Dr. Gollum! So sorry to hear about the umbrella and the cut that Bandwith suffered. He really loves his mama to suffer injury on your behalf. Cute twig bench. I must go to Lowe's tomorrow. My boys bought me sod for Mother's Day. Now I think I'll go get a bench to put on top of the sod.
