A Very Curly Chocolate Cake

Welcome to Foodie Friday.
This week, the optional theme is cAkEs; but all recipes are welcome.
I made a Very Curly Chocolate Cake for my two sons. Trey's birthday was
May 6th
and
Bandwith's is today, May 7th.

A Very Curly Chocolate Cake
Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Golden cake mix
Duncan Hines Classic Chocolate icing
Pillsbury Creamy Vanilla icing
Hershey’s chocolate bar
marshmallows

Bake cake according to directions. Cool. (I used an angel food pan, because I wanted a neat, little hole for marshmallows. I cut the cake in half.)

On the bottom layer, spread a thick layer of chocolate icing. Next, spread an equally thick layer of vanilla. Stuff marshmallows into the center. Add top layer. Stuff more marshmallows into the center. Ice (I used chocolate).

Shave chocolate curls on top.

Happy Birthday, Trey & Bandwith!

If you are participating this week, add your name and "Foodie Friday" permalink to Mr. Linky. If you have trouble with Mr. Linky, I will try to help, as long as you know that Mr. L scares me more than rats and bees.

* Whew! I guess I JUST made it in time to say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to the BOYS in the Gollum House!!! (I WOULD "sing it", but Belle just puts her tail between her legs, howls and then runnnnns off n' hides!!!)~~~

(Note: My birthday's in July, GiGi... did you know CHOCOLATE CAKES, even those as GORGEOUS as THIS, actually do "VERRRRY well" in the mail?!?! Ha!!!)...

Seriously, not only is that cake FABULOUS & OH-SO-MOUTHWATERING (so how's "The DIET" going these days, girlfriend?), but that STAND is SOOOOO PERRRRTY!!! (And where was THIS "hidden"?)...

Hope you and ALL YOUR BOYS (n' girls!) enjoy the BD festivities, Michael!

Love,
Linda (n' Jim & Belle, too!)
