Foodie Friday: Blueberry Muffins

Bandwith made blueberry muffins for his grandma.
A mix, but love was added.
Mother is two weeks post-op, and she's able to move around with her walker. The bad news is, while Dr. Gollum moved our new china cabinet, he smashed his finger. 13 stitches later (and the threat of a possible skin graft), he's in the bed with Mama.
He says the cabinet was definitely NOT WORTH IT.
Mr. Linky awaits your recipe:

Michael, I'm glad to hear your mother is able to be up and about and is doing better. Give her a hug for us, will you?

Oh no! A smashed finger for Dr. G? It sounds so painful ~ I hope it heals quickly and that a skin graft is not necessary.

Heart be still, your new cabinet is gorgeous. I love where it is placed, but I'm so sorry the mishap happened while moving it.

Hopefully the blueberry muffins will lift everyones spirits a bit. From a mix or not, they are beautiful and look delicious. I love baked goods, pastries and such under a cloche ~ so pretty!

Sending healing wishes and prayers to yours. ((hugs))

Thank you for so graciously hosting us in spite of all that is going on in your life right now. xo ~m

Dr. G is so gracious, even if his finger hurts. I'm making him take vitamin c for fast healing.
Thanks for the well wishes. He will need them. Today, he was bitten by Paco, the new miniature mule, and kicked. And now his finger. :-( Mom is thrilled to have have him as a room mate.

Just popped in to see if there was an update on your mother. I'm so happy that she is mending quickly but so sorry to hear about poor Dr. Gollum. I think he made a valiant sacrifice for that beautiful cabinet. Great purchase, Michael! I'm sure the muffins will make both patients feel better.

Thanks for allowing me to be a part of Foodie Friday. This is my second time to participate, but as you can see, I'm still having trouble getting it right!! I wish Mr. Linky offered a "re-do"!!

Many blessings!!!

It's nice to hear that your mom is doing well. I love the cabinet and the wall color. I am more of a pastel person with lots of roses everywhere - very shabby chic & a little french country. My husband wants one room with no roses...I might let him get his way.

I posted a recipe for quinoa - if you've never tried this grain you should. The name looks funny but it's absolutely delicious and so easy to prepare.

Thanks so much for the well wishes for Mom and Dr. G. Both patients are much better.Mom even went outside for a while this morning. Her back surgery seems to be a success. As to Dr. G, we'll know in a few days about the graft. Poor guy was staring at the armoire this morning and shaking his head. Bandwith is going to the grocery to cook lots of comfort food. Then I'm going on Really Rainey's wonderful diet.
Love to everyone...
