Foodie Friday

A feast for the eyes this Foodie Friday....

Dr. Gollum brought me a pumpkin tureen.
Pumpkin tureen, 96 ounces, American Atelier at Home

Mister and Mama continue to improve.
If you are participating in Foodie Friday, add your recipe to Mr. Linky. Have fun!

I'm hoping to find a recipe at Foodie Friday. Soup, chili, something for a rainy day.

Hi, I am new to your blog. I just wanted to leave a comment and tell you that I also have a pumpkin tureen like that. Except mine is kind of a goldish orange color. When I saw the picture of yours, I had remembered that I have it tucked away in a box somewhere and I need to get it out for pumpkin season!

I'm so glad that everyone is on the mend. As to the tureen, how fortunate you are to have such a thoughtful guy. For whatever reason, I use mine more for punch than soup.
Thanks for hosting Foodie Friday.

Dr. Gollum sounds like a good man, just like my husband, Joe. Every time I visit your blog I so desperately want you to come decorate my house.

Just FYI - I have started a weekly meme on Mondays - Slightly Indulgent - fabulous food made a little healthier. If you have a recipe that's healthier in anyway, please link up on Monday! There is a give-away too.

Dr.G sure knows how to treat a LADY! The new soup tureen AND your rooster are both gorgeous.
I sure hope your mama and Mister feel better very soon. I understand the time it takes to care for parents...just remember to take care of yourself first!

My daughter just emailed me the perfect recipe to put in your tureen... pumpkin dip!

2 (8 oz) blocks of cream cheese
4 cups of powdered sugar
1 30 oz. can pumpkin
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger

Mix cream cheese and sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients and chill. Recipe suggests serving with ginger snaps but her friend served it with teddy grahams.
