  21. Hi, I am new to your blog. I just wanted to leave a comment and tell you that I also have a pumpkin tureen like that. Except mine is kind of a goldish orange color. When I saw the picture of yours, I had remembered that I have it tucked away in a box somewhere and I need to get it out for pumpkin season!

  23. I'm so glad that everyone is on the mend. As to the tureen, how fortunate you are to have such a thoughtful guy. For whatever reason, I use mine more for punch than soup.
    Thanks for hosting Foodie Friday.

Just FYI - I have started a weekly meme on Mondays - Slightly Indulgent - fabulous food made a little healthier. If you have a recipe that's healthier in anyway, please link up on Monday! There is a give-away too.

  40. My daughter just emailed me the perfect recipe to put in your tureen... pumpkin dip!

2 (8 oz) blocks of cream cheese
    4 cups of powdered sugar
    1 30 oz. can pumpkin
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp ground ginger

Mix cream cheese and sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients and chill. Recipe suggests serving with ginger snaps but her friend served it with teddy grahams.
