Hi, I am new to your blog. I just wanted to leave a comment and tell you that I also have a pumpkin tureen like that. Except mine is kind of a goldish orange color. When I saw the picture of yours, I had remembered that I have it tucked away in a box somewhere and I need to get it out for pumpkin season!
Thanks for sharing and hosting! Many blessings!!
I'm so glad that everyone is on the mend. As to the tureen, how fortunate you are to have such a thoughtful guy. For whatever reason, I use mine more for punch than soup. Thanks for hosting Foodie Friday.
Dr. Gollum sounds like a good man, just like my husband, Joe. Every time I visit your blog I so desperately want you to come decorate my house. Just FYI - I have started a weekly meme on Mondays - Slightly Indulgent - fabulous food made a little healthier. If you have a recipe that's healthier in anyway, please link up on Monday! There is a give-away too.

My daughter just emailed me the perfect recipe to put in your tureen... pumpkin dip!2 (8 oz) blocks of cream cheese4 cups of powdered sugar1 30 oz. can pumpkin1 tsp cinnamon1 tsp ground ginger Mix cream cheese and sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients and chill. Recipe suggests serving with ginger snaps but her friend served it with teddy grahams.
