Attention foodies! If you'd like a chance to win a fabulous piece of cookware, check out my new contest at Facebook. The prize is an 11 3/4" Le Creuset skillet. To enter, visit Michael Lee West's Facebook page and complete the following sentence: "This skillet would be perfect for ---------."
Describe the recipe you'd like to cook in this pan. If you have a photo of your favorite entree (or dessert), you're welcome to upload it to my FB page. Scroll down the page until you see the kiwi skillet--or you can wait a few hours when this entry links to FB. I'm working on a new book, so if you want to keep me company, that's where you'll find me, slinking around FB and eating chocolate.
Deadline: July 1st
UPDATE:
The photo mural contest ends at Saturday at midnight 5/15/10! So you still have time to upload your mosaic. The grand prize is a wicker picnic basket. First and second prizes are Le Creuset prep cups and pewter tablecloth weights. Check the sidebar for details.Foodie mosaics can be added at the Foodie Friday Gallery. Nature and decorating mosaics can be added in the Design Gallery. If you all like these photo contests and would like to see more, let me know!
It's Foodie Friday! What have you been cooking this week? Anyone on a diet? (I'm struggling!). Just add your permalink and recipe to Mr. Linky:
Michael, we sure do miss you around here- hope all is well and things are getting back to normal

Pattie, I saw your FF entry on Facebook--it looks delicious. And that cake! I am going into blogging withdrawal. I love writing fiction, but it can be a lonely profession. I hope y'all will hear my frantic Tweets and keep me company on FB. Then I might get through it.
ReplyDeleteXX00
I must confess, I am not a facebook person...I don't tweet either...blogging takes up more than enough time for me!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely weekend and thanks so much for having me again.
Best wishes,
Natasha.
Hope your life is returning to normal!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to check out your FB post now! So glad to hear you are working on a new book, I bet some of the posts on FB are good character fodder:) Kathy
ReplyDeleteOops, is there any way you can delete my duplicate entry (the one with the typo)? Sorry about that - thought I was able to fix it before it went through.

No facebook or tweeting here...no time for that!
ReplyDeleteHope you are ok..just stopping in to say hello. I didn't play this week..
hope to be back next week.
I'm new to the FB thing, couldn't figure out how to leave a comment for the Le Creuset Skillet give-away, so yeah, I'm a dummie! But I could surely fry some okra and fried green tomatoes in that beautiful baby, that is, iffff I won it!! This is my 1st time on your blog, it's way cool and you definitely have the best give-aways. I'll be back!
ReplyDeleteGollum, this looks like a great giveaway, but unfortunately, I don't do facebook. And I have no idea how to do a mural. People have tried valiantly to help, but I'm not very technical. I'm going to have to learn how to do that. Maybe Mr. Magpie could lend a hand when he has one to lend.
ReplyDeleteHappy FF, and I hope things have returned to normal for you...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Just found your blog and am now following! I'm all about Foodie Friday. Thanks for putting it together!
