Bandwidth stopped by an old fashioned hamburger joint. Just blink your headlights, and a perky waitress will run outside and take your order. Bandy added a salad. It's the perfect meal for two writers(and even Big loved it).

That looks delicious, and beautifully photographed! I would enjoy a big burger like that right about now! Hope things are well with you.
Blessings, Beth
Michael, Mr Linky was being funky tonight! Can you please delete the first 2 incorrect links- the third for Floating Islands is the right one. AAARRGH! One of those days. Thanks so much and thanks for hosting!
xoxo Pattie
Oh, yum! It doesn't get much better than that: a burger, fries and salad. I think I spy bacon on the salad. My motto is that everything is better with bacon!
When we visit the US the first place we visit is a diner at the farmers markets in LA called Du-pars. We LOVE their burgers. I wish I could have one right now...
Thanks for hosting another Foodie Friday-I so appreciate it.
Best wishes,
Natasha.
Ohhhh I hope you had a milkshake with it! Comfort food on a paper plate---perfect!
How sweet! That looks very delicious and filling.
Oh my, there is nothing like a good burger joint :) Especially with good fries...Oh yes!
Nothin' beats a good burger!
Nice on the burger, fried and a salad!! Looks delicious!
Hi Michael
I love Foodie Fridays. Humm.....
Looks good!
This afternoon I was running around in this heat and I drove by a Chili's Restaurant and wanted a Margarita SO BAD...lol Summer nights are made for take-out for sure!
Boy my post is sure long for such quick meals this week! Hope you all enjoy it and have a great weekend, fondly, Roberta
There is nothing I love more than a greasy, yummy burger from a diner like this. I want one now!
That burger looks so good! And I thought my risotto took care of my craving! Gotta go make some more...
The burger looks great! Atleast he opted for the salad instead of the fries....my weakness! Burgers are my hubby's favorite. Thanks for hosting!!
That looks so darn good! Nice that you added the salad. I should be so healthy! I messed up on Mr. Linky. If you like you can delete the first one that says suzy@kitchenbouquet-Espresso Amaretto Cookies. Thanks!

Please join us for Mia Monday where we will tell our stories about neighbors...the good, bad, funny or indifferent. We all have Neighbors, so join the party and link up with us.
I love those old fashioned burger places. We don't have any in England anymore (I'm not sure they ever did) but whenever we visit the US or Canada we love to go to them. Thanks for hosting.
I love a good old-fashioned burger! Heck, I love good new-fangled burger too!
I participated in your link party. Thanks!

Love the all American burger anyway you fix it! Love your photos.

Michael, first let me thank you for your kind and thought comment on the loss of my beloved dog, Sheldon. I'm still trying to deal with it, but everyone has been so supportive. What would I do without my blogging friends?
Anyway, I missed last week, but I'm moving forward and am excited to be back this week. I loved going to burger joints when I was young(er), but I stopped eating beef over 25 years ago. Wish some of these joints would offer a big, old juicy chicken or turkey version!
So glad to link up again this week. I made a fabulous marinade last night for dinner and just had to blog about it.
There's just nothing like a good hamburger!! Happy Friday!
That burger looks wonderful! I'm thinking I may have to hit La Capital for lunch, they make awesome burgers too. Have a great weekend and thanks for hosting!
Yumm! Looks great; sometimes there is nothing better than a good old burger and fries. Hope your writing is coming along and you will be back in the 'decorating' mode soon.
Umm... from across the room my daughter looked at your hamburger picture and said, "Whoa! that looks GOOD."
Time to have lunch, I think!
Cass
I do love a great burger,,, sometimes simple is best and you don't have to cook!!!
Hi Michael :-) I clinked on to your site and started drolling. Seriously!!!! We are headed to a 50th wedding anniversary of some friends tonight, and dinner is being served ... hope it's extra good or I might be talking my husband into a good hamburg stop before we head home o;-p
Your picture reminded me of how at least once a year, for y-e-a-r-s as a family we would hit the drive-in Dog N' Suds restraunt in Monteque, MI. Yummy!!! Our sons are all in their twenties now ... but I might just suggest a road trip there when they are all here in mid-July!!
I liked 'Susan's' idea of a milk shake with it! I wonder if my husband would enjoy such a meal for his Father's Day meal ...
What a gorgeous blog! Will follow as soon as I finish this comment. I'll be posting your Foodie Friday button on my post as well. Come on over for some great food in between all of your lovely creative ventures! Roz
Love a good burger! I enjoy watching "Diner, Drive-ins and Dives" to see where Guy will pop up yet,,,could be at that Place next!
I haven't been writing on my blog lately (needed a time-out) but I am in the middle of a great book-"Mermaids in the Basement"!
