KitchenAid Contest

Susan at Thoughts From Over the Rainbow has won the KitchenAid mixer.
http://thoughtsfromovertherainbow.blogspot.com/ (For some reason, Blogger won't let me add a live link this morning!)
Congratulations, Susan! A new contest will be unveiled tomorrow. Also, the countdown for the Facebook giveaway, a kiwi Le Creuset skillet, ends July 1st. For more chances to win, leave a comment here and on Facebook, and tell me what you'd love to cook in that skillet.

How Wonderful!! Congratulations Susan! I'm very happy for you. :D

That is an awesome give-away, ML. You are soooo good to your followers.

I'm reading your book Crazy Ladies at the moment & I am loving it...too funny!!
If it ever comes out on tape, I think Paula Deen should do the voices. I can *hear* the southern drawl so beautifully in your writing.

Hugs,
Rett

Interesting...I tried to comment on this hours ago and got the "blogger is unavailable" message that I'd been getting since yesterday. Now I see that somehow my comment did post...twice and it won't let me delete one of them. I also don't have an icon on the early comments...so I'm testing this to see if it posts and if my icon is back.

Congratulations Susan~~~ I've had my Kitchen Aid mixer for almost 30 years and couldn't live without it! You are one lucky lady!

OK, so now I'd really love a chance to win that skillet. I would probably use it to make omelets, saute mushrooms and carmelize onions. Does that qualify my well enough to win? Hope so.

Michael Lee, You are such a generous blogger!!!! There is always a fabulous giveaway going on at DBG!

One word for why I love to cook in a Le Creuset pan... carmelization! And maybe one more (2 actually)...easy clean-up!

If you have a chance stop over to StoneGable. It is my last day for my giveaway.
See you for foodie friday.

I am so happy for Susan! I know she will be thrilled, and it was her anniversary the other day, too, so this gift is perfect timing.

Let's see...what would I like to cook in that fabulous skillet? Something Italian! I have a new cookbook by Rocco Dispirito, and I would love to try some wonderfully delicious Italian dish. There is a "Red Snapper Francaise" with butter and lemon sauce that requires two pans, and I could sure put that one to good use! I'd also like to try his version of Chicken Marsala.

Thanks for the chance to enter your drawing, Gollum. You are sweet to do this for everyone.

XO,

Sheila

This is just way too much fun to see what other people like to cook and what they like to cook with. I look forward to being a part of all this.
