I love picnics. The simplier the better.
Even if you aren't traveling far, picnic food must be easily transportable. A glass jar is the perfect container for a walnut-apple salad.
Pile everything onto a large tray and join me in the front yard.
Dinner is at six.
Croissants, ham, and cheese.A vintage beverage carrier, plastic cutlery,melon.
Paper plates and a vintage tablecloth. Why not?

With the croissants and the sunflower napkins, I so want to be there!!! I usually just shove some stuff in a cooler before we go on a picnic but with a bit of planning, you make it look SO much nicer!! I gotta get me some of those napkins!

ReplyDeleteOh ML, I have been looking & looking for a caddy to carry glasses out to the Gazebo! My grandmother had one that I remember & I saw the EXACT same one in an antique store in McKinney, TX. I still kick myself for not buying it that day. :-(
