This Foodie Friday, I'm delighted to visit with New York Times bestselling author, Lori Wilde. Her latest novel, The Welcome Home Garden Club, has just been released by Avon Books. I fell in love with Caitlyn, a young mother and widow, who owns a florist in Twilight, Texas. Here's a little 58 second peek:
The Welcome Home Garden Club is the fourth book in the Twilight, Texas series.
Meet Lori. In addition to being a bestselling author, she's a Registered Nurse, teacher, and Foodie. Her last novel, The First Love Cookie Club, is my mother's newest favorite, and my niece has fallen in love with it, too. Lori's characters are so real, they feel like people you know--even the town of Twilight, Texas feels like a colorful character, a place you'll want to visit.

Er, Uh, how to I add my link? I don't see a linky tool.
Nothing showing for a link, ML?
Take a deep breath! :)
Drat that blogger! I'm not quite sure where I am suposed to post my Foodie Friday entry below?
Thnks for introducing me to yet another writer and her books. I'll have to do a lot of reading on vacation this summer!
And thanks for the generous giveaway!
You're the best!
Yvonne
I think it's okay. Butter, Kathleen, and Yvonne--mail me your addresses and I will send you a copy of Lori's book. Linkz and Blogger have conspired against me this week. :-/

What caught my eye is the guy on the cover of Blaze! Cute!
Oops, I posted the wrong link (entree #3). Don't see a red x to edit or delete, so I reposted with the right link. I guess Mr. Linky is conspiring against me too ;).
Looks like another fun read. Twilight, Texas could be any small town in TX. ;-) I look forward to reading Lori's series. Thanks for introducing us to her.
And thanks for hosting each week. ~ Sarah
The guy on the cover of Blaze, not words to describe him.
Great giveaway!! Thanks!

No red X this week! Life is good!! What happened in the beginning.....it took awhile for link to show up. It is up and running now perfectly. Great post this week.....Lori's website is great! I like the way she has the excerpts. Her books are interesting. What great giveaways...fun, fun, fun:)
She sounds like an amazing person and author. I am so glad you introduced her to us!
Thank you.
I can tell Lori is a fellow foodie - garlic is the key to good guacamole, if you ask little ole me.
Btw, I love the line about the dead man... really piqued my interest.
PS - the cover of Blaze caught my attention.
:)

I guess Blaze is the winner this week! :-) The Linky was a challenge so hope my entry stays...it's been like "ok, fine" and then it seems to be gone & back again. It's a new moon this weekend...I'm sure that's the problem. LOL
Thanks for introducing us to Lori. I live about 45 min from Granbury/Twilight. :-) So anxious to read her books now! I'm happy to have a summer reading schedule.
Have a great weekend! Thanks again for the incredible giveaway and the opportunity to win.

Hi Michael
I lost my first entry here ..the page went blank and then my browser had to close -- but I think it was my computer and not a blogger problem? I like the sound of Lori's books! Thanks for the introduction ..I am pleased she was an RN and now a successful writer.
Hugs, Pat
Hello, Michael! I meant to title my link Mushroom Lasagna in my Prize Dish not Price Dish :(
I loved reading Lori's bio and how early her writing career began at age 8 with her first novel written at age 12. Her books sounds wonderful too!
Uh, excuse me, but, I, too, liked HIM on the cover of Blaze. OMG
One never gets too old to loooook.:))
Fun giveaways...
I love Lori's new site. She recently had the whole thing redesigned and it looks amazing. What caught my attention when I popped over there after reading this blog were two things, actually.
1. The upcoming Blaze novel High Stakes Seduction. I first discovered Lori's amazing books via her Blaze "A Touch of Silk" (Bachelors of Bear Creek series) and not only did I finally fall in love with the Blaze series, I found a fun, new author that never fails to turn out a great read!
2. The Wilde Women VIP Lounge! I'm already a member and get all those awesome exclusive privileges and perks, but that sassy high heel caught my eye now just like it did then and I'm so glad I signed up for her VIP Lounge.
Thanks for the great blog and the yummy recipe!
JT
Romantic Times gave High Stakes Seduction 4 1/2 stars--they don't give many of those "1/2"s and that's awesome!
Just a quick note...
We've had 3 winners so far for Lori's new book--two more to go.
Link #100 and link #125 will be winners. Just email me at designsbygollum@gmail.com with mailing instructions. Thanks!
This sounds like a delightful read...but I want to start at the beginning. Off to B&N to do some book shopping. :)

I "liked" Lori's links! Thanks for the extra chance to win.
I can imagine myself having a lovely Garden tea party with my girlfriends with all those giveaway goodies! :) How fun!
What caught my eye was how MANY books she had. Wow, that is quite the list. I've always admired people who are able to write so many books. It must take a huge amount of talent and be so much work. Good for her! I love reading so I saved the site and will go back and check out the list again, thanks!
I must be getting old. I noticed the guy on the cover of "Blaze", but what really caught my eye was the sweet little cottage on the cover of "The Welcome Home Garden Club."

Sunflowers...my favorite!
I love the scene posted on Lori's website. I'd like to be sitting in that white wicker rocker right now reading one of her stories. Oh, and I also learned that she wrote under the name of Laura Anthony. I'm going to have to try and find some of those stories.
Her book looks like a hoot! What caught my eye was the name of Twilight, Texas. I haven't heard of her before. Joni
Well, looks like another book to add to my summer reading list! I'd love to be entered to win!
