I've lived in the suburbs and in the city--great places, to be sure, but nothing beats the country.
Country style loves dirt, peeling paint, and bright colors. It doesn't need updating and doesn't have an expiration stamp.
The country is full of grace.
It's a place and a state-of-mind.

I'd love to sit in one of these fabulous chippy adirondack chairs and while away a beautiful summer day.
ReplyDeleteHi Mlee (I'm lovin' your little nickname). I've never lived in the country but your country is so beautiful! Hope you've had a wonderful 4th!

What an absolutely beautiful piece of heaven you have. We have two acres and enjoy not having neighbors so close. I can sit on my porch and not see a house in site, there is something so soothing to the soul and spirit when you are in the country.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and beautiful pictures.

ReplyDeleteThis post came in a timely manner, as I have been giving a lot of thought about making a change in location.
Hope you had a fun 4th of July !!
Beautifully said. I took pictures of the baling of hay this past week. It smells like heaven on earth... Happy 4th!

We have a travel trailer on a beautiful lot in the country right beside a beautiful river. I love it, and hope that one day that trailer will turn into a summer home!!
