Foodie Friday -- September 20, 2013

Welcome to Foodie Friday, where good food is always on the menu.
Come on, let's see what Bandwidth is cooking tonight.
Just follow Mister--he'll lead you to the kitchen.
 Bandy has been taking an online cooking class with Chef Gordon Ramsay (it's perfectly free on YouTube). Tonight we're making Chef Gordon's steak and gnocchi.

Are you ready, Bandy?
The steaks have been seasoned, just waiting for the grill.

And the gnocchi is almost ready to cook.
The kitchen smells of hickory and thyme, hearty and curative aromas.

Bandy and Gordon make it look easy.

Dimpled and stuffed with ricotta, these little dumplings are a welcome change from baked potatoes and fries.

You've got to try one!

  5. WOW!!! Your entrance is warm, welcoming and entrancing!! Everything is so lovely and the food looks yummy. I make a gnocchi soup in the winter that is delicious, it has spinach and chicken in it and lots of herbs. Very well suited for a cold winter supper.
    I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to smell those wonderful aromas while Bandy was cooking and to maybe get a little taste too.

  6. WOW!!! Your entrance is breathtaking, so warm and inviting. It would be hard for me to leave that beautiful home. The food looks so yummy, wish I could have been a fly on the wall as Bandy was cooking, to smell the wonderful aromas and maybe get a little taste too.

    Those steaks look scrumptious...I've never tried making homemade gnocchi, but my Italian neighbors made them all the time, so I grew up eating them. We called them "lead sinkers"...oh, they were goooood!

    Bandy is going to make someone a wonderful husband someday!! Ya' think he can wait for Ms. C. to grow up a little? LOL
