Foodie Friday and The Mystery Ingredient Club

Welcome to Foodie Friday
and
The Mystery Ingredient Club.

The "secret" ingredient was chocolate. Bandwidth kindly made a chocolate
soufflé with a lovely ganache--a Gordon Ramsay recipe, which you can find HERE.

I am deeply grateful to all of the kind, consoling comments that you all left last week.
Zap is home from the hospital. You can read about that right HERE.

If you are contributing a recipe to this week's Foodie Friday, locate the blue Inlinkz icon in the lower, left-hand portion of this post. Click on the icon and follow the directions. After you complete the process, you will see a red "x" beside your name. This allows you to delete your link if you made an error; the red "x" is visible to you only.

Pretty please do not pin images from the FF thumbnails. Visit the source blogs. Thanks.

  6. hey Michael Lee, I know you have been sick with worry over your sweet baby, hopefully he is on the mend~thanks for having the party anyway, I hope it brings you just a little distraction~I have never been brave enough to try a souffle, and a Gordon Ramsay recipe no less would put me in the shivers that he'd be yelling at me!

  7. I had trouble with Inlinkz tonight (it wiped out my sidebar at one point), and I'm afraid to go back into the post and edit. But I wanted to thank everyone who participated in the MIC. Thanks to everyone for coming to the party.

  8. Sorry I've been missing the last few weeks - I had several posts that I meant to share and then somehow just didn't get around to linking up ... just too much life getting in the way of blogging at the moment. Anyway, I've brought brownies to atone - these are also good for a grieving heart.

    Thanks for hosting xo

  18. Oh, Dear Michael Lee! I'm so sorry to hear about little Zap. I'm glad he's home and you all are in my prayers. We love our little fuzzy faces like our children. I'm just so sorry for this.
Well, I decided to joing your party, although I'm a day late! :) Nothing fancy, nothing original, just a copy cat recipe but man it's good! :)
You'll be in my thoughts today and of course little Zap.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  19. Sorry to be late with my comment. I'm away from my computer and catching up as I can. I just read the update on Zap. Breaks my heart that you and Zap are faced with this.
The chocolate soufflé is the perfect dessert. I'm serving individual soufflés for a dinner party this coming week. '-)
    Take care…….thinking of you.
