Foodie Friday and Everything Else

Welcome to the Foodie Friday and Everything Else party. I look forward to spending time with you all. We love the same things, hearth and home, and it's a peaceable feeling to share our recipes and ideas.

You can read about the rolls HERE, along with how I discovered a
must-read, delightful food blog, Christina's Cuccina. I also made a beehive cake. Even though I messed up, the cake was very forgiving.

I'm delighted to share the links that you loved best at last week's FFEE party.

The #1 most-viewed feature was "By Special Request"
from Back Porch Musings.
"One of J’s favorites is cocktail meatballs in cream of mushroom soup or gravy. At his request, I prepared meatballs this week and served them in mushroom gravy. The meal was a hit."

#2 More Brass and Gold Touches by My Kentucky Living
"Since after Christmas I have been putting things back into a simpler state of d├ęcor. It takes time to get a house back in order after the 'defrocking.' I have been getting Spring catalogs in the mail...and I am ready to jump into Spring projects...but not winter ones.
I have created a couple of great room vignettes for you to see  . . . ."

#3 Tex-Mex Casserole by New South Charm
"Today I was craving comfort food.  One of my favorite comfort foods is Tex Mex Casserole. This is a delightfully easy dish throw together. It’s made with simple ingredients that combine together to create a smokey flavored ground beef dish with some spice."
--Susanne,  New South Charm
