Foodie Friday and Everything Else

Welcome to Foodie Friday and Everything Else.
How was your Memorial Day? Bad weather kept us indoors, but it was nothing compared to the devastating floods in Texas.  Sarah at Hyacinth for the Soul gave updates from her blog. You can read about the flooding in her neck of the woods HERE and HERE. If you live in Texas, I hope you're safe and dry.

Let's take a look at popular posts from last week's party.

One of the most popular posts was "Small Town America: Down on the Bay" by Everyday Living, showing the charm of Fairhope, Alabama. The photographs capture the essence of this small town on Mobile Bay.

  5. Your table out on the veranda looks so pretty, Michael Lee! We've had so much rain and devastation, as you know from Sarah, but we had sunny skies today.

  13. Thank you for hosting each week, ML.
We have had some rain every day for about 3 weeks with the exception of one day...keeping looking out to see where the ark is! Mother Nature could be kind and send some of it to California...

  14. Thanks for the great party! Feel for those poor people who had the terrible flooding - certainly makes us not want to complain about any not so pleasant weather we might be having.

  17. It is so awful what is happening in Texas. It makes all the stuff I complain about seem so petty.

  26. Thanks for another wonderful party, Michael Lee. The features are each spectacular. I need to get back in the kitchen.
More rain here in TX today. I'd say the drought has broken. Lakes are up, which is a good thing, but rising water elsewhere still presents problems for some. Thank you for the kind words. Everyone in TX appreciates the concern and help that has been coming our way.
I'll be back for Sunday Supper tomorrow with great anticipation.
