Foodie Friday and Everything Else

I'm so glad you stopped by Foodie Friday and Everything Else.  How is your week going? I've been working on an herb post in my spare time--mostly I've been making last-minute decisions at the ranch house.

It's starting to feel more like a cabin-on-the hill than a ranchburger..

We're cleaning the flower beds this weekend, and I'm making notes to add sun-loving plants in the raised beds.

Crepe myrtles are blazing all over the yard. But oh, the weeds are frightful.
I'll be sure to take before and after pictures for y'all!

Last week's party was loaded with creative ideas. Did you see these awesome posts?

'Tis the season for zucchini, and Homemade Interest shared their favorite recipes. I can't wait to try the spiral tart--and the chips look delicious, too.
Enjoy eating healthy with these family friendly Summer zucchini recipes.

***
Common Ground shared a spectacular post about downsizing and finding a place for beloved items.  Like all good writing, Debra's words resonates on many levels, and it's really about life itself. A must-read post.

I have such trouble with my geraniums, and I was thrilled to find Chemistry Cachet 's helpful gardening tips.

NY Foodie Family's Kimchi Ramen Egg Foo Young looks delicious.
