This Side of Heaven

The changing sky is the first true sign of a Tennessee autumn. The air is musical and iridescent, moving like a strummed banjo.

Clouds drift across an impossibly blue sky, infused with light and shadows.

On this side of heaven, colors deepen. Nature is giving us her best, a one-of-a-kind show, and it's ever-changing.

October is best enjoyed with a camera, a sweater, a crooked walking stick, and Wellington boots.
At the end of every hike, you'll find unexpected treasures.
