Foodie Friday and Everything Else

Welcome back to Foodie Friday and Everything Else.

2016 began with a small family reunion and lots of great food. We added a few critter-proof bird feeders, but we left several for the squirrels.

I feel as if I am a pilgrim to this new hilltop, with discoveries around every corner.

While walking around the yard, I was surprised to find Carolina Jessamine in bloom.

I'm pleased to share a few highlights from last week's party.

Carrot Fries by The Pistachio Project.
Make fries out of carrots! These taste amazing and even the pickiest of kids will love them!

A Christmas Tea for Young Ladies by The Nest a Finch Rest.

Your view is jaw-dropping gorgeous - wow. And that plant blooming still? In the middle of winter? Isn't that something - this weird warm weather has me so confused! : - )

  21. What a delightful surprise with the Carolina Jessamine (other than the fact that all the plants seem to be confused in this mild winter)! And what a gorgeous sky, a view I would never tire of. Really beautiful.
