Ain't She Sweet

Here on the hilltop, I've embraced Halloween with a childlike enthusiasm. Maybe it's because I will turn 63 years young this week, or maybe I'm just out for the candy. Either way, whimsy is the word of the month, and I can't remember when I've had this much fun.

    1. Kim, it's not a tablecloth--I used draperies from another room and layered them on the table. They are Cynthia Rowley, and I found them at HomeGoods.

  14. Yeah, I think Halloween's like that: it brings out the kid in us! As for the candy—well, I've never outgrown my sweet tooth! Hope you have a joy-filled birthday!
My youngest sister was born on Halloween and we tease her that she was a trick because out of three girls, our mother was 100% sure that she was going to be a boy!

  15. Happy BIrthsay to you! I love the Halloween gingerbread house! I think perhaps the story of Hansel and Gretel better fits Halloween than it does Christmas, don't you think? I also like the cups full of candy, I admit, I like candy corn still!
