Foodie Friday and Everything Else

Welcome to Foodie Friday and Everything Else.
Before we begin, let's send up prayers for Texas and all other areas that were in Harvey's deadly path. In past years, when we lived on the Gulf Coast, we experienced tropical storms and hurricanes, but the devastation in Texas is beyond reckoning. I'm hearing reports that Louisiana is in a dangerous situation, too.
Our prayers will keep coming.
This week, I participated in the Fall Tablescape Blog Hop, organized by Celebrate and Decorate. The party began Monday, August 28th and will end Friday, September 1st. You will love the ideas!

Monday
Everyday Living • Home is Where the Boat Is •My Kentucky Living •
Bluesky Kitchen • My Thrift Store Addiction

Last week's party was unusually spectacular, filled with inspirational ideas for autumn. You'll also find recipes and projects for September's warm transitional days.
I'm pleased to feature the highlights:

Common Ground shared lovely Olive Bucket Candle Holders on the Cheap.

Dizzy, Busy, and Hungry shared a Raspberry Sorbet Wine Spritzer.

The Jenny Evolution shared Cowboy Burgers with Grilled Pickles and Crispy Onion Straws.

  17. Great features for this start of a rainy, what I call cozy weekend, Michael. A cowboy burger, raspberry wine spritzer and warm, glowing candles sound like knock-out prizewinners to me. Enjoy your weekend, and thank you for inviting us in.
